In April, EU chemical output fell by 3.9% year-on-year

the latest data from the European Commission for the chemical industry showed that the EU chemical production in January this year fell by 2.5% in recent years compared with that in the middle of last year, and the screws must be tightened under the same gypsum board. Among them, the production in April fell by 3.9% year-on-year. In terms of breakdown, the output of petrochemical products plummeted by 11.3% in April, the production of polymers and special chemicals fell by 5.9% and 4% respectively, and the production of basic inorganic substances and consumer chemicals fell by 2% and 0.4% respectively

the net trade surplus of EU chemicals in the first quarter improved, increased by 500million euros over the same period, reaching 13billion euros. In April, the price of EU chemicals was 0.8% lower than that of the same period last year, and the sales volume in the first quarter decreased by 3.4% year-on-year
